Posted by Clutch in After coming off a hard fought tie in last week’s game against the wannabees WTE looks to rebound with what would be two huge wins. However WTE is not the only team that is playing a double header this week, Just for Kicks will take on Moving Pylons and Sloppy Seconds. When Jamie “Wonderwalsh” was asked about the upcoming games he responded with this; “Now with this bet out of the way we just have to go out there and play our game. We can’t rely on other teams to get us there.”
The last time these two teams met Brigil edged out WTE by a score of 8-5 giving them their second loss of the season. The team has not lost since and hope to continue this trend right until the end. It is rumoured that the leading scorer of Brigil broke his foot while playing soccer 5 weeks ago and remains a game time decisions. An inside source has told us this; “he actually broke his foot in soccer about 4-5 weeks ago and he is going to the doctor this week to see if the cast can come off or has to stay on for another couple months….so there it is lol! So without him I think we have good chance of winning.” He is doubtful to start on Wenesday.
“Fiesty” Fish after coming off a huge game last week was asked what they needed to do to with these games “Well we need to be firing on all cylinders, It all starts from the back, when our goalie is playing well like he has all season we are never out of a game.” Don’t miss these games as your WTE has a chance to regain that top spot.
In other news, it is said that the co-ordinator is changing the layout of this year’s End Of The Year Tournament. Instead of keeping the divisions the same that they were all season long she is mixing up the divisions so that there will be three different divisions come tournament time. The top three teams from division 2 will be facing off against the bottom three teams from Division 1. When asked about the change Captain Clutch said; “It’s just another obstacle that they are trying to throw our way. I have never seen anything like this before, regardless it is just one more thing we will have to overcome, and we will.”
So there you have it folks with the team fired up this weeks games are guarenteed to be exciting.
