t has been a long time coming but this day has finally come… An exclusive interview with none other but a WTE veteran Mr. Matt Fish. Matt has been a part of this franchise since day one but this season he is stepping aside to chase personal goals.

Anyways getting down to business, Matt even though you have stepped away from WTE this year you still managed to make it out to the first Worst Team Ever game of season 6. You have travelled thousands of miles to make the season opener. Where does this dedication come from?

MF: Can I be honest with you Devon, I needed to support my team.

That is a true leader right here folks. Anyways what are your plans this upcoming season even though you have step aside?

MF: My goals are to past my wisdom that I have culminated in my 4 years with WTE to these current rookies.

What do you think of the new additions this year?

Josh - is the best addition to the team, he reminds me a lot of me. Hard working every shift, yet having bad luck scoring right now but he will end up scoring in bunches. Great addition.

Annie - dont know a lot about her but great shot. Should score a bunch this year

Brad - Good red head replacement? Maybe so

Dino - Brings intensity to our squad, maybe to much for WTE?

How do you feel about Jamie WonderWalsh abandoning the team, let alone he was the leading scorer and left to go Germany?

Jamie is doing what he feel is best for him, but at the same time I feel others will sign a different song literally claiming he abandon the team for his own selfish reasons but I know that is not the truth. Although there is a lot more passing on the team this year.

The team finished close to the top of the league last year, with all the changes the team has made do you think that the team will be as competitive  this year?

MF: weak question, NEXT!

What do you think of the departure of Brutal Beswick from the team?

MF: Sore issue, just sore issue. I am really… it is just hard to get the words out said a sad fish. I wish she would stay but maybe it is the same case as jamie as she is leaving for better things but I don’t see that at this moment but best of luck in the future ya know. best of luck

What do you think of the generous offer that WTE offered for you to stay with the club? Despite a 5 year deal worth 5 team pitchers at BP you still left, you left the team in a time of need. For Jasper? why matt? Why?

MF: Fair question, and tough question. Richard, founding member left 2 years ago. Jamie walsh also left this year, who is the proclaimed star of WTE. I also left this year, we all have our reasons but when the time is right we will REUNITE.  ummm ok ummm *pressure building* umm what do i have? *I touched a girl and i liked it.*  ummm  ok I will say this it may not make sense now but our departures in the present will aid the team in the future.

Well said Mr. Fish well said.  uh he is now dancing in my basement to disturbia. Quick time out we shall return..

We are back after a few more drinks and a lot of Rihanna and disturbia.

So Matt, If yo u had a chance to play just one game for WTE this season would you?

MF: No, gotta leave the team how it is and let it grow. I gotta say it’s painful to watch from the  sidelines, but hey, that;s the way it goes.

This will go down as one of the greatest evenings ever in WTE. Even though WonderWalsh is half way across the world he is still remembered. Many drinks have been drank despite his absence. He will not be forgotten. The same goes for the other great WTE Alumni. WTE is more then a indoor soccer team, more then people getting together to play soccer every wednesday evening. It is a way of life, and it is our future.
