Worst Team Ever goes into week 4 a perfect 3-0 looking to keep the drive going against a team that is also undefeated. Girls n’ Boys have opened their season with a 2-0-1 record, sitting 3rd in team standings behind WTE and Just for Kick’s.

Worst Team Ever played their second pre-season game against Girls n’ Boys and came away with an easy victory. The story line is a little different this time around, with both teams trying to keep their undefeated season in tact look for this game to be a lot closer. The captain of Girls n’ Boys currently sits third in the league for goals tallying 6 out of their teams 12 goals in 3 games. WTE has a more spread out offense the “Three Musketeers” (Travis, Josh and Dino) have 17 out of a possible 20 goals and look to keep this streak alive.

Brad Samuel has had an unlucky start to the season. Finding himself in alone on more than one occasion has struggled to find his scoring touch. When asked about the recent slump Brad had this to say; “slump? Pfft… Thats it. Three goals next week! Guarenteed!” A bold statement by a player that has managed to score 2 goals in the past 3 games. All eyes will be on him to show that he is true to his word.

Catching up with Dino “The Dinosaur” DeFranco who looked like he had hyper-extended his knee in last week’s 7-5 victory over Moving Pylons. Originally put on the Injured reserve a couple days ago was listed as day to day saying that he was feeling pretty much 100% . With Dino in the line-up this should be enough to keep the streak going. He is still a game time decision but count on him being in the line-up. Some wonder if he is rushing back to action in response to the comment made by former goal leader Jamie “WonderWalsh”; “No slacking off on Worst Team Ever… Game ready by Wednesday!”. Only time will tell in this weeks game.
