Despite having to play a cautious game against a pregnant woman WTE managed to come up with the key goals at key times. Dino opened the scoring early and ended the game with his first career hat-trick playing for WTE. Another goal was added by Travis “Captain Clutch” DeFranco. Making the final tally 4-1. The lone goal scored on Devon “The Legend” Kunkel was a bad clearing attempt resulting in a goal.

Catching up with Annie after the game we asked her what she thought about the decision by the opposing player to play while pregnant; “I think it’s really dumb, anything can happen and I personally I would not take the risk”. A few other players from the team also voiced there opinion on this matter, feeling like they had to alter their game.

Devon “The Legend” Kunkel with a stellar performance to start the season had this to say ”Our team defense is still solid, seems like we didn’t miss a beat from last season. I almost feel like Ashley is still here, Travis took a page out of her book last night.”Devon made 31 saves on 32 shots to secure the win, and is feeling like he is in midseason form.

The team is coming together well, and although it’s early they look like a top contender again this year despite the changes in the off-season.
